The 1st annual Lynn Mennis Memorial Beanbag tournament seemed to be a success. We are still waiting on numbers, but there were over 25 registered teams for the bean bag tournament. 1st place winners walked home with $300 and a set of the specially designed boards by Good Vinyl Graphics in Brookings.
The Brookings Home Team even sponsored a board and was part of the silent auction won by Lynn's dad, Darrell.
There was a free will lunch of pulled pork sandwiches and chips provided by Justin Odegaard, the Home Builders local president and Justin Froiland from Fairway Mortgage. They even had home made BBQ sauce. There was plenty to go around and even a little leftovers.
There were many silent auction items available from local businesses, and at the end Dean Gulbranson auctioned off a beautiful shed made by the SDSU Construction Management.
Big Thank You to Jeremie Houtman from Houtman Construction and Nancy Ahlers with Blinds by Nancy for organizing an awesome event and we look forward to seeing you and many new faces next year!
