I am a born and raised resident of Brookings, having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from SDSU. I moved to Ames, Iowa after graduating to teach preschool, but quickly moved back to Brookings because my husband and I loved and missed the community here and knew that this would be the best place to raise our children.
I began working with the Brookings Home Team in 2018 as an Office Assistant, which allowed me to see the “behind-the-scenes” work it takes to list and sell homes. It was evident that the Home Team not only cares about helping their clients, but also desires to bring the absolute best service to every transaction. Each client was heard and respected, and the Realtors on the team worked tirelessly to create a culture of excellence. With a cumulative 16 years of experience between the team members, every question was either answered, or directed to someone who could answer it efficiently.
I received my Realtor’s License in 2019, and since then have closed on numerous homes with the help of my teammates and my outstanding clients. I use my knowledge of the market, the surrounding area, and new trainings to find the home that best fits my buyers’ needs. Navigating a real estate transaction is oftentimes confusing and stressful, but the teaching techniques I learned with my degree allow me to explain every step of the process. I want my clients to feel comfortable and assured that I do everything in my power to find their dream home.
In my free time, I enjoy being outside with my two children—either at the Nature Park or going for walks around our neighborhood—reading, and drinking coffee. I am excited to show more people the magic of Brookings, and continue working with the Brookings Home Team to help serve the community!
